Taiwan Culture Magnets|Culture Series
This product is an original design by Onlygo, a design brand by Chung Jen.
OEM Souvenir Magnets x Everyday Life in Taiwan
A striped Gaji Bag packed with spring onions, carrots and fresh fish. A pedestrian traffic signal counting down the seconds, with the Little Green Man on the move. A pair of Blue & White Slippers by the front door. This set turns three of the most familiar objects in Taiwanese daily life into palm-sized zinc alloy magnets in 3D relief.
The Culture Series is part of the Taiwan Culture Magnets range by Onlygo, Chung Jen's in-house design brand. It is also a complete example of our custom magnet capability: theme planning, tooling, plating and printing. The same process can turn a signature object from your brand, museum or event into a magnet of your own.
Taiwan Culture Magnets Landmark Series
Taiwan Culture Magnets Food Series
Product design description:
Everyday Taiwan, made to take home
Onlygo's design team built the Taiwan Culture Magnets range around local culture: street food, architectural landmarks, daily life and local wildlife. The range is organised into three series (Landmarks, Food and Culture), and each design is reinterpreted through 3D relief printing, creating magnets that work both as travel souvenirs and as small, cheerful pieces for everyday spaces.
The style is bright and lightly realistic. Partial printing brings out the natural lustre of the metal and its layers of craftsmanship, giving each piece a more refined finish. Beyond their practical use, the magnets are small collectibles that showcase Taiwan's culture.
The Culture Series is the most "everyday" of the three. Each design draws on an object seen all over Taiwan:
- Gaji Bag: the striped woven bag locals carry to traditional markets, filled with spring onions, carrots, fish and garlic, with a cutting board and meat in front, as if just back from the market.
- Pedestrian Traffic Signal (Little Green Man): the pedestrian signal seen at crossings across Taiwan, with a countdown display above and the walking Little Green Man below.
- Blue & White Slippers: a simple pair of the slippers found in almost every Taiwanese home, recognisable at a glance.
All three are objects that anyone who has spent time in Taiwan will recognise instantly, making them meaningful collectibles and gifts.
**If you'd like to develop custom fridge magnets featuring your own brand's characters or themes, please contact our sales team to discuss specifications.
**This product can be purchased in small quantities wholesale, or it can be purchased together with other Onlygo Design products . Please contact customer service for purchase information.
Product Features:
- Zinc alloy die casting for true 3D form: Each design has its own mould. Die casting captures the rounded body of the Gaji Bag and the vegetables spilling over the top, the angled visors of the signal housing, and the embossed straps and curved soles of the slippers: details you can feel, not just see. The weight of zinc alloy also gives each piece a solid feel in the hand.
- Gold-tone plating: Shared with the Food Series, the gold-tone plating creates warm gold outlines while protecting against oxidation and wear.
- 3D relief printing with metallic lustre: After plating, colour is printed directly onto the relief surface (the Gaji Bag's red, green and blue stripes, the signal's orange digits and green figure, the slippers' blue straps), following the colour layers of the original design. Partial printing lets the metallic lustre and colour complement each other for a more refined finish.
- Two magnets on the back: Each piece has two embedded magnets for a secure hold on fridges and other metal surfaces. The back also carries the Onlygo logo in raised lettering.
- OPP bag + header card: Stock items are packed in an OPP bag with a header card printed in Chinese, English and Japanese, ready for retail display. Packaging for custom orders can be planned to suit your brand.

What This Case Means for Your Custom Magnets?
The Culture Series shows a simple design approach: one object, one story. Choose an object people recognise instantly, capture its most distinctive features (the stripes of the Gaji Bag, the countdown digits of the signal, the colour of the slipper straps), add a few surrounding details for context, then tie the designs together with consistent thickness, plating and packaging. This approach works especially well for:
- Museums, cultural institutions and museum shops: souvenir magnet series based on collection themes or local everyday objects, extending exhibitions into products visitors can take home
- Regional tourism and local brands: turning local objects and traditional crafts into souvenirs with a story
- Companies and brands: custom magnets based on your signature products or brand icons, as client gifts or anniversary keepsakes
- Events and exhibitions: multi-design magnet sets themed to your event, combined with collection activities to boost engagement
Custom Magnets FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity for custom magnets?
The MOQ for OEM custom magnets is 500 pcs. For stock items from this series, please contact our sales team to check availability and ordering options.
What do I need to prepare to turn an object or product into a magnet?
Send us photos of the object from several angles and tell us which features matter most, such as specific colours, textures, text or surrounding elements. At palm size, some detail needs to be simplified, and our team will help you decide which features are worth keeping. No artwork is needed: our designers can create the design from photos or a written description. The design fee is charged separately; please contact our sales team for a quote.

Do I need a licence to turn an object into a product?
It depends. Everyday objects usually do not require a licence. If your design includes a trademarked or copyrighted logo, name, artwork or character, the client is responsible for confirming and obtaining the relevant rights.
How are tooling and sampling costs calculated, and how long does sampling take?
Tooling and sampling costs depend on the complexity and size of the magnet. Please contact our sales team for a formal quote. Sampling takes around 10–15 days, depending on design complexity and seasonal capacity.
What is the typical lead time for custom magnets?
It depends on whether the project is fully custom (OEM) or based on an existing item (ODM).
- OEM (fully custom): After artwork approval, mould development time depends on design complexity. Once the mould is ready, sampling takes around 10–15 days. After sample approval, mass production takes around 15–40 days.
- ODM (based on an existing item): No new mould is required. Lead time is around 15–40 days.
These ranges are for reference only. Our sales team will confirm the exact lead time based on your project details (design complexity, material and quantity).
Can plating colours and colouring methods be adjusted to our requirements?
Yes. This series uses gold-tone plating with 3D relief printing, and partial printing brings out the natural lustre of the metal. For custom orders, you can discuss alternatives with our team, such as nickel plating or other plating colours, or colouring methods such as soft enamel and imitation hard enamel.
What is the stock packaging, and can it be customised?
Stock items are packed in an OPP bag with a header card printed in Chinese, English and Japanese. For custom orders, packaging can be tailored to your brand, for example with a redesigned header card or a gift box.
Can we add our logo to the back of the magnet?
This series carries the Onlygo logo in raised lettering on the back. For custom orders, our team can discuss how to present your logo on the back.

Please provide the following:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is your company a manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a Taiwanese company with our own factory in Fujian, China. We have been manufacturing zinc alloys for over 30 years, providing you with high-quality products and the best factory direct purchase prices, eliminating the cost of one middleman.
Do the factory and products have certifications?
The factory is BSCI certified, Disney certified (ILS Social Compliance Audit), and has a pollution discharge permit approved by the Chinese government. Materials and many products have inspection reports, and structural ODM products also obtain patent certificates every year.
Is it possible to produce a small quantity or make a sample?
Yes, we offer sample making services. While the unit price will be relatively higher for small-batch production, it ensures you can confirm the product quality and performance before mass production.
Why is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
OEM Customized Products: To share your mold and production development costs, we recommend a customized product quantity of 500 pieces to obtain a preferential price.
ODM generic products: The minimum purchase quantity is 500 units, which effectively reduces procurement costs and maximizes your benefits.
How long is the delivery time from placing an order to picking up the goods?
After artwork confirmation, sampling will take one week, and mass production will take three to four weeks. Adding the specified shipping and delivery time, you will receive the goods. For complex products or large orders, production time will be negotiated separately. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We recommend choosing generic designs, which can shorten mold making and sampling time and meet urgent order needs.
How do I make a payment?
First-time customers must pay the full amount before production can proceed.
Payment is primarily made via wire transfer (TT), but PayPal can be used for smaller amounts under USD 300.
Please contact us if you have any further questions.
What are the shipping options?
You can choose to ship your goods by air or sea from Hong Kong or Xiamen, or choose from various courier companies, allowing you to receive your goods faster and gain a competitive edge.
