Almost everyone recognises the yellow triangle with a black border by the roadside. The design team of Onlygo, our in-house brand, gave this familiar sign a new cast of animal characters and created the Animal Warning Sign Pin Badge series. From the leopard cat and Formosan black bear of Taiwan's mountains to stingrays and sea turtles, and the beagle and black cat at home, each pin is a small, playful reminder.

The series also shows how custom pin badges can work: one simple, recognisable frame that extends into a full set of characters. If you are planning branded merchandise, museum or zoo shop items, or event souvenirs, the same approach can be applied to your theme.

Product design description:

Design Concept: From "Caution Ahead" to "Cuteness Ahead"

The design team took the classic yellow-and-black triangle as its starting point and used clean silhouette lines to capture each animal at its most lively moment. A warning sign is a visual language understood worldwide; with an animal in the centre, a serious warning turns into a reminder that makes people smile.

Some designs carry a short slogan, for example:

• Leopard cat: "Slow Down Leopard Cats"
• Stingray: "Stingray Zone"
• Giant panda and raccoon: "Do not Feed"

Product Features:

• Shape and size: A 35 x 27 mm triangle sized for everyday bags, jackets, caps and camera straps. It looks natural as an accessory and displays neatly as a set.
• Material: Zinc alloy gives the pin a solid weight and texture, suited to merchandise and souvenirs where quality should be felt in the hand.
• Plating and colouring: The metal base is first plated with high-temperature black e-coating, then coloured with digital colour printing. Digital printing reproduces fine artwork, such as the leopard cat's spots, making it a good fit for detailed character designs.
• Packaging: The standard packaging is a kraft paper backing card with an OPP bag. The card comes in two illustrated designs, Mountain and Seaside, giving each pin a story on the retail shelf (images for illustration only).

OEM Customisation and Mould Development

The look and feel of a custom badge comes down to four things working together: material, plating, colouring and shape. We recommend the right combination based on your design, budget and use.

• Material Zinc alloy is our main material, ideal for die-cast 3D relief and custom shapes. Brass, iron and stainless steel are also available on request.
• Plating Common finishes include gold, nickel, red copper, gunmetal, antique bronze, antique zinc and high-temperature black e-coating, chosen to suit your design style.
• Colouring The colouring method can be chosen to match your requirements and budget: Soft enamel, Hard enamel, Baked paint, Epoxy coating, Digital printing, Screen printing, Pad printing, Laser engraving.

Glow-in-the-dark and rhinestone effects are also available, as are multi-piece movable designs for a more interactive badge.
