A coin keychain (also called a trolley coin keyring or shopping cart token holder) is a keychain that holds a single token. In Europe and other regions where coin-operated shopping trolleys are common, users take out the token and use it for a trolley or locker, with no need to carry spare change. The token can carry your logo, which makes it a popular corporate giveaway that combines everyday use with brand exposure.

The standard token is 1-euro size (Ø 23.25 mm, 2.33 mm thick). Selected models also offer 0.5-euro and 1-pound sizes; available sizes depend on the model, so please check each product page. If your market needs a different diameter or thickness, we can evaluate the change. If the mold has to be adjusted, the cost will be quoted case by case — please contact our sales team.

The main holder types are:

• Classic one-piece: the body holds the token directly. Simple structure and lower unit price, suited to large-volume promotional giveaways.
• Two-piece holder: a patented structure supports the token. Lift the token slightly and push aside the curved lower piece to remove it. The token is held more securely.
• Magnetic holder: a strong magnet holds an iron token. Press the top edge of the token to flip it out. Iron tokens are quick to produce and lower in cost.
• Multi-function: models with a bottle opener, spring hook or key shape, for brands that want the giveaway to do one more job.

The body and the token are handled as two separate parts:

• Body: plating in shiny nickel, satin nickel, black nickel, gold or gunmetal, or colored e-coating. On selected models, a logo can also be laser engraved or UV digitally printed on the body.
• Token: cut-out, color filling, laser engraving or full-color digital printing, depending on the design. Iron tokens for magnetic holders can be color filled, printed or fitted with a sticker insert.

Available plating colors and finishes vary by model — please refer to each product page or your quotation.

A stock design (ODM) uses an existing body, and you customize only the token artwork or the logo on the body. Many stock bodies require no mold fee, and development time is shorter. A fully custom design (OEM) starts from a new body shape and requires a mold fee. If budget or time is limited, we recommend starting with a stock design. Our sales team can compare both options for your quantity and requirements.

The MOQ is 500 pcs. The final quantity can be discussed with our sales team depending on the model and finish. If you would like to check the result first, you can start with a sample before deciding on the bulk quantity.

It depends on whether you choose a stock design (ODM) or a fully custom design (OEM):

• Stock design (ODM): uses an existing body with no new mold. Lead time is about 15–40 days.
• Fully custom (OEM): after artwork approval, mold development time depends on design complexity. Once the mold is ready, sampling takes about 10–15 days. After sample approval, bulk production takes about 15–40 days.

These are general reference ranges. Our sales team will confirm the actual lead time based on your project (holder type, finish, quantity). If you are working to an event date, we recommend a stock design to skip mold development.

Yes. We offer sampling so you can check the body plating color, the token artwork, and how the token goes in and comes out before mass production. Bulk production starts only after the sample is approved, which greatly reduces the risk of the final product differing from your expectations.

• Model number (e.g. CJ-20001) or preferred holder type
• Token size (1 euro, 0.5 euro, 1 pound or other)
• Body plating color
• Token finish (cut-out, color filling, laser engraving, full-color printing, etc.)
• Quantity
• Packaging
• Artwork: a vector file (AI, EPS or high-resolution PDF) is preferred. Photos or sketches are also welcome — we will discuss the next steps with you.
